Seminario "Cultura visual y revolución: Hispanoamérica 1808-1830"
Desde hoy se viene presentando el seminario “Cultura visual y revolución: Hispanoamérica 1808-1830”, que reune investigadores de Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, España, EE.UU., Francia, México y Perú. El seminario se lleva a cabo en el marco del proyecto colectivo de investigación “José Gil de Castro. Cultura visual y representación: del antiguo régimen a las repúblicas sudamericanas”, desarrollado desde fines de 2008 con el apoyo de la Fundación Getty de Los Ángeles. El evento es co-organizado por el Museo de Arte de Lima – MALI, la Cooperación Regional para los Países Andinos de la Embajada de Francia, la Embajada de Chile en el Perú y la Fundación Getty; con el apoyo de la Agencia Española de Cooperación Internacional, el Instituto Francés de Estudios Andinos y el Programa de Maestría en Historia del Arte de la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
